Mobility and agility are of high tactical importance in an ever faster changing environment.
For this purpose, JK Defence & Security offers a range of solutions aimed at rapid deployability and high tactical mobility: Helicopter Landing Mats, temporary access roads, vehicle recovery mats, and rollable masts. All solutions are designed with maximum deployability in mind and are characterized by low weight, multifunctionality and rapid deployment.
HELICOPTER LANDING MATS
Musthane helicopter landing mats are superior to textile or metallic systems in terms of safety and deployability thanks to an innovative combination of polymers, composites and technical textiles. Markers provide daytime orientation, while IR beacons are optional for nighttime use. A special anchor system is available for sandy and very loose soils. A 20×20 meter system weighs 1,000Kg, can be moved in just one transport and storage container and erected by 4 people.
FARE (FORWARD AREA REFUELING EQUIPMENT)
Musthane FARE is a modular system for refueling of aircraft in forward areas. The system consists of a selection of pumps, filter units and tanks. The flexible and rugged tanks can be loaded as internal or external loads, airdropped and towed on the ground. A system with nearly 8,000 liters of capacity can be loaded on an aviation pallet and can be assembled into a forward refueling post with or without Musthane helicopter landing mats.
VEHICLE RECOVERY MATS
Musthane vehicle recovery mats reliably free wheeled vehicles of up to more than 12 tons from situations stuck in sand, mud or snow. Made from an innovative combination of polymers and technical textiles, these flexible vehicle recovery mats are available in a variety of sizes, can be reused multiple times, are maintainable and can be stored to save space.
ROLLABLE MASTS
Rolatube rollable masts use a unique bi-stable fiber composite material that has two stable states: rolled and extended. As the lightest mast system in the world, Rolatube rollable masts are extremely quick to erect and dismantle. When rolled up, Rolatubes can be stored to save space and are very easy to install. Applications range from antenna solutions and sensor systems to the construction of camouflage nets and boarding operations. The tactical mobility of any system that includes masts or booms can be increased with Rolatube.
