To meet a wide range of operational requirements, JK Defence is now adding a new, advanced system to its portfolio of electronic warfare solutions, providing land forces with a scalable tool for deception and troop protection. While airborne and maritime platforms have long benefited from advanced deception technologies, investment in the land domain has lagged behind.

Mimic was developed to address this deficit. Compact and adaptable, it offers land forces a way to credibly create uncertainty on the electromagnetic battlefield by providing soldiers with an easily accessible deception tool that can be deployed in large numbers at the tactical level. Mimic also provides an ideal basis for training in the use of both friendly and enemy electronic warfare systems.

Global events such as the war in Ukraine and the conflicts in the Middle East are leading to ever new and more diverse threats in the electromagnetic spectrum. In the constant effort to stay one step ahead of the enemy, it is important that electronic warfare technology is as flexible and responsive as possible. JK Defence is addressing this challenge with Rowden Technologies’ Mimic and announced their collaboration to industry professionals during a joint appearance at this year’s Enforce Tac.

Rowden Technologies is a British engineering company and one of the fastest-growing technology companies in the United Kingdom. It specializes in network, sensor, and computer systems for defense, reconnaissance, and emergency response. Rowden won the Product Launch Award in the Electronic Warfare category at the 2025 Army Technology Excellence Awards for Mimic.

Mimic was designed for easy use, with most soldiers able to familiarize themselves with its simple, web-based user interface in less than two hours. It´s design allows it to be deployed quickly and flexible in a variety of operational scenarios without placing additional strain on frontline personnel.

Mimic is the first product in Rowden’s Magos family of affordable sensor and communications systems. Its modular architecture ensures that it can adapt and evolve to meet the rapidly changing demands of modern warfare.
