AFCEA 2026: Successful Trade Exhibition in Bonn
On May 12 and 13, 2026, JK Defence & Security exhibited at the 39th AFCEA Trade Exhibition at the World Conference Center Bonn. The event is one of the most important platforms for exchange between the German Armed Forces, government agencies, industry, and research institutions in the fields of information and communication technology and defence.
A special highlight this year was our first-ever joint trade show presence with our long-standing partner L3Harris Technologies. Thanks to this joint appearance, we were able to double our exhibition space compared to
previous years and present visitors with an even broader range of mission-oriented communication and technology solutions.
At our booth S30 in the New York/Genf Hall, we welcomed numerous industry professionals and engaged in in-depth discussions about current challenges and future requirements in the electromagnetic spectrum. The focus was on our cyber-resilient and scalable communication solutions, as well as state-of-the-art C4ISR systems that are available worldwide and under the most demanding operational conditions.
Together with our technology partners Antenna Research Associates (ARA), NanTenna, Rolatube, Rowden, Spectra Group, Ultralife, and Viasat and L3Harris we presented innovative solutions for networked communication. The systems and technologies on display impressively demonstrated how information superiority can be achieved through robust, secure, and integrated communication solutions.
In addition to the technical topics, a special novelty this year sparked numerous positive conversations: For the first time, we set up a candy bar at our booth. Visitors had the opportunity to put together their own personalized bag of candy from a selection of treats. This was very well received and provided a welcome opportunity for personal exchanges with customers and partners.
We found the personal dialogue with end-users, procurement managers, and decision-makers particularly valuable. The numerous discussions confirmed the high relevance of interoperable and operationally ready solutions for modern armed forces and security organizations.
AFCEA 2026 once again provided an ideal setting to deepen existing partnerships, establish new contacts, and jointly explore the technological challenges of the future. The positive response to our solutions, the strong presence of our partners, and the high number of visitors at our booth made the event a complete success for us.
